Dessa had been admitted to Willowcreek for less than 72 hours and already the anxiety of not being at The Barking Legs Theater was overwhelming. She hated knowing she may never perform on the softly lit stages or even see her friends again. The anxiety was always there, of course, but had worsened over the last few hours.
Currently she was lounging in one of the chairs in the patient lounge, a bleak and uncomfortable little room in the asylum. Her brother was nowhere to be found, something else to worry Dessa. Her brother was unpredictable, but he was filled with so much rage now that made him even more intimidating. She took a deep breath and sighed, trying to not let her mind wander off to far.
She draped her long legs over one of the arms of the chair, her corseted back pressed against the other side. She worked at a sketch in her lap, a habit that was normally relaxing but not helping right now. She laid her pencil and sketch pad on the side table behind her and laid her head back dramatically. She was so bored. So far she wasn't allowed to touch a sewing needle until she'd been further processed which left her unable to work on her costumes. Just in case.
Her black hair was done up in a 50's pin-up girl style, the front bangs rolled and hair sprayed into place. Her mis-matched eyes were rimmed in black cat-eye eyeliner that winged out at the ends. Bright fire engine red lipstick coated her lips, and a pit of foundation hid any extra flaws she might have acquired since being here.
Her body was clad in an emerald green whale bone bustier that had feathers lining the top and a pair of skin-tight jeans. The staff thought the lacy panties she typically wore with this top were inappropriate for the asylum and therefore were only to be used as underclothes. Right. She wiggled her black patent leather peep toe platforms anxiously, waiting for something to just happen.
She sprawled out over the chair, watching the door with a slightly upside down view. [/size]
